This is going to be tricky as I had a meeting this evening. I got in the car to get the result and to my surprise it was commentary of our game!
It sounds like KP saved our bacon just minutes from the end.
The extra time I heard, there wasn’t a single chance for us. We had the ball most of the time, except for the odd foray by Brentford – including a dangerous free-kick they got close to the end of extra time.
So it went to penalties which we won 4-3 with us missing 1 and Brentford missed 2.
Over all, reading some of the forums, it appears we didn’t play well. But I guess this match was all about the win however we got it.
The Brentford fans deserve credit, you could hear them very clearly on the radio.
So we’re through to the quarter finals. I wonder if we’ll get another home draw.
