New Manager – Announcement Imminent

According to Radio WM, the Blues are going to make an announcement regarding the new manager tomorrow!

It looks like the most likely candidate is Chris Hughton.

I’m really excited! 🙂

So we’re about to employ another defender as manager.
There goes any hope of seeing football played down at St Andrews.
So previous managers and defenders – Bruce & McLeish – didn’t play much football but they tried to make us solid at the back.
We’ve been lacking fire power with both of them so expect to see more of the same.

If this happens tomorrow then we should applaud, not only the quick & decisive way the board has gone about its business but also the man that most of the fans wanted will be appointed.Why do we have such dismal, negative & sad fans like Scott17.

I can’t believe Scott 17 being negative ! Hughton IS the man for the job . Newcastle hammered Villa and Sunderland by 6 goals under his reign . Hardly negative and defensive !!

Let’s hope that Houghton can give us some attacking football with a lot of goals. And that we still don’t forget how to defend well. A strong attack will give us goals but a good defence will give us promotion. KEEP RIGHT ON!!!

i hate negative comments like Frank and Mark
because no one else is allowed to think differently from them
No-one is right or wrong at the moment time will tell

Lost at Home to Blackpool and Blackburn then 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Bolton was followed by a well-earned 1-1 draw with Premier League champions Chelsea, followed by a 3-1 defeat to West Brom after which he was sacked.
At the time of his departure, however, Newcastle were still well placed to avoid relegation this season, 11th in the league.
He was lucky he had Carroll it would have been so different without him, who signed him?

Hughton hasn’t built a team most were already there for the championship season.
i would have liked Curbs built a team and kept them in prem for 6 years before he left.
just hope we haven’t gone for him because he is cheap or a pushover by the board.
will be interesting now to who we sell and buy which may then tell us why he was employed.
i think the board will dictate to how succesfull he will be.

What a result. Glad hughton is getting the job,he is the right man for it and he is a good tactition. i heard through a source that he went to the interview with a 2 inch thick dossier on every player which had all their profiles, ie: strengths & weaknesess, the best part of the pitch they should play to break down teams. Now i don’t know about you Scott17, but to me that dont sound like a defensive player. we should all get behind him and show what true support is.

Fingers crossed for Chris Hughton. Sacked when Toon were 11th – where did they finish the season? Well done Peter Pannu.
