Unbelievable day, unbelievable result. I am so proud of the Blues, we really deserved it. Foster was rightly man of the match but they were all heroes. The atmosphere was excellent and to see Stephen Carr lift that trophy was a dream come true.
I’m exhausted now but very happy. There will be a proper match report tomorrow, now is just the time to celebrate our first major trophy for fifty and a place in Europe.

As a die hard Villa fan (who loves to hate you lot)… i can gladly say… WELL $**&% DONE!!!
Your boys did you proud! You deserved to beat one of the Sky fours finest (or so talk advert & sky say). Absolutely awesome display. I watched the match with my old man (who is as blue nose as you lot get) & was delighted with the result!
But why the stuff you might think…
1. You represented MY city (yes that does hurt a little to say)
2. You gave this great competition the respect it deserves… the Arse lot didn’t.
3. you beat Cockneys…
4. you made my old man happy (which is rare being a nose of course)
5. you made cockneys cry
6. the scum media wrote you off… i loved Phillips quote stating that he didn’t realise you were playing in the final as it was all Arsenal coverage. priceless!
6. you proved to the world that football is about 11 vs 11 (not sky biased team vs no hopers according to Sky)
7. you had TWO definite penaltys not given… & still won.
8. you stuck it up em right at the death.
9. you proved Hansen wrong (who was probably still sulking cause l’pool weren’t there).
10. Dixon\Hansen weren’t able to give the MOTM to Wiltshire
11. fabrigras was ‘allowed’ to lift the trophy from the bench or whatever!!!
I know the last time you were in europe your fans caused trouble… they pulled all the sails down, threw the canon’s overboard etc… but i genuinely hope you enjoy the daytrip out. As it won’t last long will it. lmao.
