What a difference a week makes!
We were terrible last week, but that was on a truly awful pitch and I can forgive the odd poor performance – it’s when it is every week that it becomes annoying.
HOWEVER today, totally different.
We’d scored 5 from 5 chances, despite Reading having more of the play and more shots and more corners. The Reading forums are full of sack Adkins comments. Actually reading them reminded me of our forums when Clark was here. We did miss at least one chance, (unforgivable!), and ended up with a half dozen.
So Gray bags a hatrick, it also sounds like Donaldson and Shinnie had great games too. But one of the more important points, is that we have claimed back a good chunk of the negative GD we had after THAT game. If we had scored another one, or Leeds had pulled one back, we would have been up another place from 15th to 14th.
Things are enjoyable again, keep it going Gary. I’m looking forward to Baz’s match report this week!
Oh and a quick shout out to Bluenoses – the volume was great, especially cheering the announcer calling them Blackpool and of course when Ziggy came on.

Ahh, I’d not finished the point I was making – we scored 5/5 chances the 6th was the 7th or 8th chance. Have added a sentence to clarify.
