As things stand at the moment Scott Dann is rumoured to be having a medical at Blackburn, Liam Ridgewell has put in a transfer request and the Jerome to Stoke rumour has surfaced again. I’ve not heard much about people joining and I expect we will have to wait for the loan window to open for that.
In the papers there is also a rumour of Jean Beausejour moving to Wigan and he was one player I thought would be staying.
Eleven hours to go but this window can’t close quick enough. We might not have much of a team left at the end of the day.

This is so depressing. As you say come 11.00 pm will we have a team left. CY is selling any player who has a value. God help CH.
I am in the maldives and have been following everything since at least 4am, being 4 hours a head. I got a feeling mind the pun. Carsen is cashing in hes chips and leaving the table. Selling all players and bringing the price down for new owners. I sure next month we will have new owners. We already have new directors.
I doubt it is CY who is making the decision to sell; certain players – He has probably set a cash goal to either get off the books in terms of wages and/or bring in as transfer fee’s
If Cameron goes for £6m I will be a happy man; but Dann for £5m is daft we are already short at CB.
I would sell Zigic(on loan if no-one wants to buy – due to fitness) and Jerome,
Sign a Ben Turner, and then after the window Loan a Winger and Striker.
I would like a better keeper but doubt that will happen.
The loss of Beausejour would be a real kick in the teeth.
why do you think CY is coming to england in Setember? it is to pick up a suitcase full of money before he does a bunk.
today will see 4 more stars released making a total of 22 out the door since relegation but the good news is they have signed an 18 year old centre back released by wrexham as a replacement for Dann. at thee end of today we will have 14 senior outfield profesional players non of which have any resale value. there are limits on how many loan players can be brought in so don’t expect more than another 2 players, how in gods name we will manage to play 60 games with so few players is beyond me. i think we will be remarkably lucky if we finish outside the bottom 3 …. balancing the books??? my arse!!! if i was CH i would walk away from this sham and who would blame him. Pannu has lied through his teeth to him and the fans. the little hairdresser has destroyed the club.
You will find beausejour and ridgewell will be gone tonite. Houghton will be given 5 milion to play with. He will raid newcastle and clubs strapped for cash sound familiar? Wonder how much blues are worth? 40 million?
We will see. Jean Beausejour’s departure will be a major kick in the teeth, worse than losing Scotty. Of course, the fact that the transfer window is closing tonight is mere coincidence, CY has just arranged bail after hearing of our recent European success, and simply cannot wait to congratulate CH… and asking why Nathan hasn’t been sold yet….
Going for peanuts, possibly to new relegation candidates, and struggles. Pity the players can’t prove themselves here and look to January, and better clubs.
The Carling Cup the best moment in my 60 years of supporting Blues. Now the worst, the last relegation was bad enough with Bruce raping us, at least history has not repeated itself with Mc Leish making bids, perhaps that may be a good insight to his relationship with the players in the last few weeks of the season.
