With just over 3 weeks to go, I thought it would be nice to build up to the big day in the capital – but giving you the opportunity to share your experiences at Wembley with the Blues.
We’ve had a Play-Off final, Auto Windscreen Shield and a Leyland Daf final in the recent history. However when we used to play in black and white, we got to a few FA cup finals.

I don’t want a match report as such, I want your experience. What happened on the way up, at the game, afterwards. Did you meet any of the players or get hit in the face by the ball – that sort of thing.

I also went to the Auto Windshield and the play off final, was to young to go to leyland daf, but saw it on tv, it was a great day, nothing like hearing thousands of fans singing there voices dry and when Paul Tait scored, i felt the ground shake. I recall the trip home was nothing but ecstasy, its what i miss about the blues now, the days of singing “were only loosing 4 nil”, Mexican waves and the best crowd atmosphere i have ever felt, that made me proud to be blue through and through.!
If we can bring our spirits to Wembley and build on the atmosphere at the home west ham leg, we can do the arsenal, we can pump the team right up, KRO!!!
I went to the Tranmere game on my own but by the time we played Carlisle I had two young boys who were spellbound watching from the Olympic gallery. Their highlight was Paul Taits Shirt slogan and they sang SDOTV all the way home to their mother’s delight-NOT
Well all those years later my younger son is flying in from Florida where he is at University and my older son coming down from Leeds where he works so finally I get my lifes dream of a major Wembley final and with my two sons able to join me.

If Arsenal can do Barcelona, it should help the blues at Wembley. They seem to ease off when they are expected to win and beating Barcelona would be the distraction you need.
