I’ve noticed, whenever we “expect” to win a game (this won’t be new or unique to me, I’m sure) we seem to lose it. And we as fans get irritable. When we are to against “bigger teams” we play better, and we as fans have tempered expectations, so more philosophical in defeat, and more celebratory in victory.
To that end, I’m going to treat all future matches as though we’re the underdogs. Bottom of the table coming to town? They’re the favourites to win, and we’ll be lucky to get a point ??
