Today is one of my favourite sport days of the year, and probably my favourite football day.
It’s the day of the little v large, special goals, muddy pitches and fans either celebrating or crying at full time. Today is the day that complete unknowns become household names. When roofers, carpenters, plumbers and IT consultants, (well it is 2015!), become sports heroes!
Make no mistake, the FA cup is STILL special. I know many teams change their team around, but you can tell it matters when you get the upset of the minnow knocking out the giant!
So I will be glued to the radio, watching on the TV and following social media. I just hope there isn’t an upset at Blyth!
