Another game another positive result, when does the Rowett revolution end???
Listening to Mr Ross, it sounded like although we didn’t play particularly well, we did prevent Huddersfield from having too many chances. I didn’t hear the goal as my browser crashed just at the point we scored! I gather it was another Cotterill goal from another set piece and we have a clean sheet to go with the win too.
After that win we are now knocking on the door of the top half of the table. Charlton are 12th with 30 points (along with Cardiff and Forest above them) and we now have 28 points. It is a possibility that we could be top half within the next couple of league games, although our goal difference is still an issue. At the moment we have a GD of -8 and the majority above us are only -1.
Having said that, our Lazarus style recovery, is just amazing. Each week I expect an end to the improvement – with the exception of our defeat at Blackpool, things couldn’t have gone better.
Our next game will be tough though, but at least we are at home. We are looking like we will end up mid table now though. (No, I’m NOT prepared to entertain anything higher….. YET!!)
