After the incidents at QPR this weekend, the club sent this email out You may well have seen it, but I thought I would put it here just in case you missed it and you were affected.
While I absolutely can’t condone throwing missiles at anyone, I do think that football fans do get the raw end of the deal by the police and away stewards. Bad behaviour does not excuse bad behaviour back, and that is true of a Blues fan throwing coins or a Policeman or QPR member of staff treating people badly.

As you may have seen from the statement issued on bcfc.com (http://www.bcfc.com/news/article/birmingham-city-fc-2979739.aspx) the Club have been made aware of a number of issues following Saturday’s match in regard to the stewarding and policing at QPR.
We have received a number of helpful emails from our supporters which shall be used to assist us in establishing a clearer picture of what happened on Saturday and why so many of our supporters were subject to a delayed entrance into the stadium. In addition we have also been made aware of many other issues that occurred on the day, mainly relating to policing and stewarding. Please be assured we are committed to representing our supporters’ interests wherever possible and believe it is right and fair that this matter is raised formally with QPR and the relevant authorities.
The Club are already working closely with West Midlands Police and QPR with regards to the allegations of coin throwing and the Club will take the strongest possible action in dealing with any individual found to have been involved in this. We will also be making official representations to QPR and the Metropolitan Police about the issues that have been brought to our attention in order to ascertain the full facts from Saturday and to gather further evidence.
The Club will provide further updates in due course via bcfc.com.
In the interim if you have any further issues or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
