The Birmingham Mail’s reliable source, Colin Tattum, seemingly today confirms that it is indeed the case, that Di Matteo was interviewed by Birmingham City. The article confirms Roberto Di Matteo(and Hughton)’s interview, and also mentions Gianfranco Zola, though he’s yet to be interviewed, and Paul Ince has also been speculated in the font of all knowledge, the Daily Star. 🙂
This gives us four of the names allegedly on our shortlist. Presumably, Alan Curbishley would make up a fifth. This would leave the sixth space, belonging to…Ray Wilkins? He is being touted quietly in some quarters?
