Who or what do you think we need during the transfer window? Although the club has said there is no money, I really can’t believe that they think we don’t have any needs within the squad.
For me we are still lacking pace in midfield, perhaps excepting Dave. I would like to see us sign a right winger as Seb still hasn’t signed a new deal and there has to be questions over his future.
I think we also need a striker. The Jerome / Zigic partnership hasn’t clicked as yet and although I don’t think either are as bad as some Blues fans seem to think they are – our biggest problem is scoring goals.

With Jordon Mutch loan for Watford up with 19 starts and 5 goals, I think he deserves a call as an attacking midfielder. To say Jerome and Zigic have not gelled, the starts that they have had is minimal. We have Derbyshire on the bench who has pace but again we have not played him. Arsenal knew what to expect from us 4-5-1 and if they get an early goal the counter attack could make it 3 or 4. We needed to change the system as they knew what to expect. All good in hindsight though!!
Pace we need Benitez back or atleast someone with his pace Babel would be good, get rid of Larsson brilliant free kicks but hes slow and cant beat a man, Bentley would be a better option as for Keane why not him and Jerome upfront would be certainly better then Jerome and Zigic, Hleb not a team player and thinks the team revolves around him, i also cant see what Gardner brings to the team other than long shots

Lallana – because we’re in desperate need of a natural creative Mid and this kid is going to be absulute class

Referring to the above …. Please not kenny miller. He’s already failed in English football. We need a goalscorer so I’d be happy with keane on a permanent deal, David bentley, Jay bothroyd I wouldn’t mind getting in a quality left back, ridgewell great going forward but still struggles defensively against quality wingers. N’zogbia would be a good signing but not interested due to what happened in the summer. And finally as for hleb, he doesn’t even look interested and on espn before
Arsenal game he said we play kick and rush and he wishes he was turning out for them instead so get rid of him.
Get rid of Hleb and get a good fast attacking mid-fielder who wants to play for his wages – that would be good start.Give some of our bench-players a go too.
