It seems like that doesn’t it. A quick look at the league table shows that the form teams are not those at the top.
In fact if current form is continued into the next ten games then Cardiff and Bristol City will be automatically promoted and Reading, Wolves and Blues will have to fight it out in the playoffs with Sheffield United. There is also the possibility that the eventual champions won’t even get to 80 points.
1 Wolverhampton Played 34, 64 Points, 8 Points from the last 10 games
2 Birmingham Played 33, 60 Points, 13 Points from the last 10 games
3 Reading Played 32, 59 Points, 16 Points from the last 10 games
4 Bristol City Played 34, 53 Points, 25 Points from the last 10 games
5 Preston Played 34, 53 Points, 16 Points from the last 10 games
6 Cardiff Played 30, 52 Points, 22 Points from the last 10 games
7 Sheff Utd Played 33, 52 Points, 18 Points from the last 10 games
8 Burnley Played 34, 52 Points, 9 Points from the last 10 games
9 Swansea Played 33, 51 Points, 19 Points from the last 10 games
10 Ipswich Played 34, 50 Points, 18 Points from the last 10 games
Of course football’s not like that. Cardiff will struggle with fixture congestion and surely the top three won’t continue in the same poor run of form. Or will they? My top six prediction is
Reading
Birmingham
Cardiff
Wolves
Bristol City
Sheffield United
How do you think the final table will look?
How long did it take you to create all of them figures ?? That is an extraordinary commitment to the cause. Very well done. Much love.
