Seven unbeaten at home puts us in a strong position in the table. Charlton away next week will be a true test. Avoiding another three nil away defeat would be good. Overall, a good start. Not the best, but good.

Especially when we had the "gelling team" excuse primed and ready :up

Bellingham’s goal obviously a bit of a fluke but he’s a real talent. Saw Trevor’s first goal, too!

I think (rumours) that Crowley has an attitude problem. A bit of a Ravel Morrison, I think.

To continue the gossip, Garry Monk was sacked as he was trying to get youth players to sign with his agent before they would be allowed to sign for the club (or something like that). He is sacked and a few days later Jude Bellingham signs his first full contract with us.

Were these two events linked? Of course not...... :tap
